IKEA table like new again with solid oak, by Herma

Our coffee table from Ikea is very old, the glass top had become very ugly. At OPMAATZAGEN.nl we ordered a Oak carpentry panel with the dimensions of the glass plate. Glass plate removed and carpentry panel on. Great result.

Replaced table top with Oak

Table measured accurately. Then we searched for the right material on the internet and that's how we ended up with custom sawing. Here we looked at the different types of wood and we chose a Oak carpentry panel A/B , this suits our interior best. Ordered and then picked up in Veenendaal, where it was neatly ready. Plate well sanded and treated with clear, matte varnish, allowed to dry, removed the glass plate from the table base and placed the wooden top on top. Our table is more beautiful than ever.
