Michal has custom-made a smart folding desk. He ordered a custom-made pine carpentry panel for this purpose. The result is an extremely easy-to-use folding desk, ideal for a small space.

I made a folding desk for a customer and stained it. For this project I used normal hinges. The foldable legs help with stability. All in all a very satisfied and smiling customer

How I made this project

Simple implementation as shown in the attached photos. Everything is glued with wooden spikes and screwed with wood screws. Small hinges for the countertop, less than 2 cm to the legs 3-4 cm. As you can see in the photos, it has been varnished 5-6 times to obtain a light shine. Without polishing agents. Spray varnish and stain applied with a sponge, not a brush. If you do this with a brush, some hair may be left behind or brush after brush. Production time is approximately one and a half weeks from receipt of material and ready for customer.

Dimensions of my DIY project

After folding the dimensions are 100.0 x 35.0 cm. When unfolded, the work surface is 100.0 x 70.0 cm. The height of a standard desk is 72-74 cm from the floor.
