This Perforated Hardboard comes from Finland and is light in colour. The holes have a diameter (Ø) of 4.8 mm and are 12.7 mm apart centre-to-centre.

Hardboard-Softboard is a thin board material used especially for filling in and insulating floors. Hardboard-Zachtboard has an insulating effect. Because of this property, it can also be used for ceiling panelling or as a filling for a door or partition wall. It can only be used indoors, in dry conditions.
Lacquerboard is hardboard with a white lacquer coating. This makes the board immediately ready for use and it does not need to be treated if you want to use it in a white colour. You can use lacquerboard, for example, as a back wall for cupboards or other furniture or as panelling for floors or ceilings.
Use board for your next job
Hardboard is suitable for decorative purposes and can only be used indoors. Whereas the top layer is water-repellent, the edges of fibreboards have a suction effect. Board can therefore not be used in damp spaces.
Board is often used in furniture construction or for shop fitting. In addition, it is a popular board material for use in exhibition stands. Do not use (hard) board for constructive purposes; the material was not developed for this purpose.
The variants of hardboard
There are several varieties of hardboard available. Hardboard is completely biodegradable, so the impact on the environment is limited. The back of the board is always rough.
