Shoe carousel MDF and scaffolding tube, by Ray

Description

To make the best possible use of a deep recess in the bedroom, for neatly placing shoes, this carousel was made from custom-sawn MDF lacquer carrier circles and scaffolding tube. To make everything run smoothly, the vertical tube is mounted between pivot bearings.

Custom shoe carousel

The circles are supplied by TOSIZE.cz.
In each circle there is a hole drilled exactly in the middle of 30mm for the scaffolding tube of 26.9mm.
The MDF circle is attached to the scaffolding tube using tube feet using four 5mm bolts.
The MDF is painted in acrylic metallic lacquer.
br Ball bearings and pivot bearings have been used on both sides to ensure that the tube rotates smoothly.

The dimensions of the project

The 10 circles are made of 18mm MDF with lacquer carrier film with a diameter of 85.0 cm.
The height between which the rotating scaffolding tube is clamped is 2.4m
