Make your own washbasin furniture from moisture-resistant MDF, by Huub

In this DIY project, Huub shows how he made a beautiful custom washbasin furniture. He opted for moisture-resistant MDF in a thickness of 18mm. By ordering the custom wood online, he could get started on his project immediately.

Description of Huub

I made a washbasin with doors and shelves. Because this is one of my first projects, I have chosen not to use drawers yet.

How I made this project

I started by drawing out my furniture in FreeCAD software. This is free software that you can download via the internet. Then I ordered planks and started painting the planks. I first milled the corners of the planks with a router with a radius of 2 mm. You can do this yourself or order online. After painting, I assembled the parts and hung the furniture.
