Description

A floating desk with a loose blind shelf equipped with LED lighting. Desk has no legs and is attached to the wall by means of a frame.

Sleek, floating desk

Made a frame from 4 pine beams and attach them to the wall (3x) , and the last one in front. This is properly attached together. Then a cut to size MDF sheet lacquer carrier foil with rounded corner (front) on the frame mounted with a short overhang. Add a second part on the long side on the right and ensure that both plates are exactly the same height. Then fill the seams well and then apply a 2-component color lacquer and a 2-component gloss lacquer (against scratches).
Plank the same, with a lacquer carrier foil plate on the underside and then fill and sand the end edge. Mount LED lamps and driver in the (hollow) plank before screwing it closed and painting.
