Description

A piece of furniture with a number of compartments and a recess in the top for the BBQ, suitable for outdoor use by using Multiplex Okoumé Waterproof plates.

Homemade BBQ furniture from Plywood

1. Ordered the following materials via OPMAATZAGEN.nl:

2x Multiplex Okoumé Waterproof 25 mm 90.0 x 70.0 cm
2x Multiplex Okoumé Waterproof 25 mm 170.0 x 70.0 cm br />1x Plywood Okoumé Waterproof 25 mm 165.0 x 70.0 cm
2x Plywood Okoumé Waterproof 25 mm 70.0 x 50.5 cm
1x Plywood Okoumé Waterproof 25 mm 70.0 x 53 .0 cm

2. Then sawn a hole in one of the two 170.0 x 70.0 plates for the BBQ.
3. The edges are slightly sanded.
4. Everything primed.
5. Applied 2 coats of paint everywhere.
6. Place the plates together, pre-drill 3 holes with a 4mm wood drill per corner where 2 plates touch, enlarge the holes with a 6mm countersink drill, then glue and screw the furniture with (36 in total) 5x60mm stainless steel screws. />7. Holes filled with wood filler and slightly sanded.
8. Last coat of paint applied.
