In this DIY project, Mark shows how he made an amazing custom piece of furniture for his television! By ordering the MDF sawing work online, he was able to start his project immediately. Read more about his experience below.

Description of Mark

TV lift furniture with lift with MYW HP63-1L lift, which can also be controlled via WiFi in combination with home automation and can be higher than the cheaper elevators. If TV uses a Samsung QE43Q67C QLED 4K (2023) – 43 inch

How I made this project

Cut parts with Spax screw for MDF 'T-star' ; Wirox 3.5x45mm assembled. (install without pre-drilling) Pay attention to the front part due to any access is loosely retracted and part that goes up with the lift is also loose. The top at the back is 5 cm (due to the minimum sawing size) using a hand saw to remove 1.5 cm from it for the desired size. Hole 25 mm for Soundbar cables, see photo .cutout 8mm at the bottom edge of the front loose plate for cable input. Extra recess when using an antenna cable. Sanded and filled the screw holes with MDF filler. Used MFD cloths to remove the roller layer and degreased. Removed the last imperfections in the MDF primer and with lacquer filler. Finish painting in the desired color. Mounting the TV lift is about 0.5 cm too low. This can be programmed with the remote control so that the minimum height can be set. If you use another TV or soundbar, the dimensions may need to be adjusted accordingly. Tip: order the Lift and the TV first and optionally the soundbar.
